2. Getting Started with MailMinder
Setting up MailMinder is a breeze. Let’s get your Gmail organized!
What You Need
Section titled “What You Need”- A Gmail account (works with free Gmail and G-Suite)
Setup Steps
Section titled “Setup Steps”-
Copy the Spreadsheet
- Open the spreadsheet you got after buying MailMinder
- Click “File” > “Make a copy”

Open Your New Spreadsheet

Set Up the Script
- Click “Extensions” > “Apps Script”

Add Gmail to Services
- Click the + next to “Services”
- Find “Gmail API”
- Keep “Identifier” as “Gmail”
- Click “Add”

Create Labels and Sheets
- In the script editor, pick “Initialize” from the dropdown
- Click “Run”
- This makes labels in Gmail and sets up your spreadsheet
Note: You’ll need to give the script permission to access your Gmail

Let MailMinder Run Automatically
- In the script editor, pick “install” from the dropdown
- Click “Run”
- Now MailMinder will run every 10 minutes

Set Up Multiple Inboxes in Gmail

Go to Gmail Settings

Find “Inbox type”, choose “Multiple Inboxes”

Use these settings:

Click “Save Changes”
